Abstract
- The article reports on a study by civil and infrastructure engineering lecturer Jonathan Tran that investigates 3D printing of concrete using structural patterns similar to those found in a lobster's shell. Topics mentioned include thoughts from Tran on the complexities of lobster shells, changes of different internal architectures of cement-based materials on mechanical behavior, and the fracture surface of bioinspired concrete.
