The territory, when interpreted since its multiscale and multidimensionality, allows the researcher to have a closer relationship with the constant changes in reality. Reflecting around civil society organizations that, by having the territory as the purpose of their existence, constitute themselves as socio-territorial movements, we direct our work towards the case of the Small Farmers Movement and its elaboration of a territorial development project, called Peasant Plan, which is presented as an alternative to the development path of capitalist agriculture in its neoliberal phase.
