Abstract

Welle-Strand et al1 concluded that there was no significant difference for cesarean section rates or umbilical artery pH lower than 7.0 when comparing induction of breech with spontaneous delivery in their Norwegian cohort. Regarding cesarean section, the adjusted analyses showed a 65% increased risk in the women who underwent induction even though confidence intervals covered no effect. 4 Berhan Y, Haileamlak A. The risks of planned vaginal breech delivery versus planned caesarean section for term breech birth: a meta-analysis including observational studies. [Extracted from the article]
