A ENFERMAGEM EM DESTAQUE NA PANDEMIA DA COVID-19: UMA ANÁLISE EM MÍDIAS SOCIAIS.

Objective: To present and analyze the news published on websites about Nursing in the current pandemic moment of COVID-19. Methods: A search for news was carried out on the websites of the World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health, from january to april 2020. Results: 32 news items were found, 14 international and 18 national. The news were classified into three categories: "The importance of nursing in the care of the pandemic of COVID-19", "Support and training for nurses in the pandemic of COVID-19" and "Investments and nursing in the creation of more effectives care methodologies in the control of the coronavirus ", the latter being the category with the highest number of news. Conclusion: It was evident that the media play a fundamental role in the dissemination of information and highlighted, in this study, the role of nursing in times of pandemic of COVID-19. The news found nationally and internationally reinforced that nursing acts on the front line in these situations and due to its importance in global health, it needs to be more valued.
