Construction of a new class of Bézier‐like curves.

The goal of this paper is to define a new Bézier‐like curve, which has many applications in computer graphics and related areas. By applying an integral approach, we construct a new Bézier‐like basis in the space Γm=span1,t,t2,...,tm−2,et,e−t. Using Bézier‐like basis, we define Bézier‐like curves. We then compare the Bezie‐like basis and curves with the classical Bézier basis and curves, respectively. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
