Desafios da formação em competência midiática no Observatório da Quallidade no Audiovisual.

This article presents a theoretical-methodological proposal for the training of communication professionals developed at the Observatory of Audiovisual Quality at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, Brazil. Based on empirical research with university students and communication professionals (Borges & Silva, 2019) and the studies of Ferrés and Piscitelli (2015) on media competence; Scolari (2016; 2018a) on transmedia literacy, we developed a proposal for training students to produce content for multiplatforms. We produce audiovisual and sound series on the communication channels of the Observatory of Audiovisual Quality (2020) that show a set of new skills and provide new perspectives on subjects, technologies, communication, and education.
