La iconografía del proceso de paz: ethos visual y agenda mediática.

The coverage of the Colombian peace process by the national media meant a significant work of media representation starting by introducing the main events in their agenda and was followed by the production of a series of accounts whereby the media told these events and made sense thereof. By analyzing three cases, this paper describes how the media approached the peace process, focusing mostly on produced images. One of the main findings is that the iconography of the peace process --besides being ancillary to the written news-- accounts for the strong polarization of the different stances assumed by the official and political actors regarding the peace process.
