LOS NOMBRES DE LA AGUZANIEVES A PROPÓSITO DEL DICCIONARIO ACADÉMICO Y DE LOS ATLAS LINGÜÍSTICOS.

The object of study of this work is the ensemble of denominations that the wagtail receives. It is based on the detailed studies of Mondéjar and Halling on this same object of study; however, in light of the new information provided by the latest published linguistic atlases, this article updates the dialectal information described at the end of the last century by Mondéjar in his works about the names of the white wagtail. The methodology of this work is based on the Spanish linguistic atlases, which are the main source of search; This information extracted from the atlas works as a starting point for a lexicographical study, with the main objective of making a historical journey through the variants of the Academy's dictionaries and, so, showing the memory of these Dictionary entries. From the entries and lemmatizations related to the names of the wagtail, atlases and dictionaries are collated to show the changes, corrections and rectifications, failures and successes, of this lexicographical work.
