Abstract
- According to the heat transfer and flow resistance characteristics of the tube belt radiator, the three-dimensional flow and heat transfer model of shutter fin in belt-type radiator was established, and the effects of steering area number and length of the louver fin on the flow and heat transfer performance of radiator were investigated. The results show that when the head wind speed is constant, the heat transfer factor and friction factor of radiator under the arrangement of single-row pipe and three-row pipes are decreased with the increasing of the product of steering area length and number. When the products of steering area length and number are equal, the heat transfer factor and friction factor are increased with the increasing of steering area number. With the single-row pipe layout arranged, the comprehensive performance of radiator is the best when the steering area length and number are respective 1. 5 mm and 3. With three-row of pipes arranged, the comprehensive performance of radiator is the best when the steering area length and number are respective 3. 0 mm and 3. The optimal matching of steering area length and number can effectively improve the comprehensive performance of multi-row pipe layout and narrow the gap with that of single-row pipe layout.
