Abstract

The article focuses on the safety issues surrounding the anti-COVID-19 vaccines AstraZeneca and Johnson & Johnson and its effect in prolonging the coronavirus pandemic. Topics include the sense of uncertainty brought by the decision of U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and European Union to pause the use of these vaccine brands, the effect of these actions in bringing doubts to poorer countries and the prediction of health officials about the setbacks in vaccinations.
