The Human Side of Fracking.

A criticism of the books "The Good Hand: A Memoir of Work, Brotherhood and Transformation in an American Boomtown," by Michael Patrick F. Smith and "Up to Heaven and Down to Hell: Fracking, Freedom and Community in an American Town," by Colin Jerolmack is presented. It examines the dangers of fracking to people involved in the work, the scenes in Smith's book, and the individual and community values observed by Jerolmack in his book.
