Media systems in "the other" Nordic countries and autonomous regions: Studies of news media and journalism in the Faroe Islands, Greenland, Iceland, Sápmi, and Åland.

The article focuses on media systems theory has been a productive theoretical framework for understanding the relationship between media and politics in a comparative perspective. Topics include the developments in the growing research field have suggested that the democratic corporatist media system model is not one-model-fits-all with regard to the northern European countries.
