Abstract

The present study is about the numerical analysis of Casson fluid's boundary layer slip flow beneath the impact of suction/blowing past a permeable cylinder stretching exponentially. The modeled partial differential equations are transformed to nonlinear ordinary differential equations by applying the appropriate nonlinear transformation. The Keller box procedure, a tool famous for its numerical achievements, is used. The impact of relevant physical parameters like suction, Casson fluid, and Reynolds number and slip parameters on temperature and velocity distribution is studied and shown through graphs. The change in physical quantities like the Nusselt number and the skin friction coefficient with respect to variation of the parameters mentioned earlier was also examined. Their values are given in the form of a table. To ensure authenticity of the numerical procedure, outcomes of the present investigations are compared with previous works, and strong agreement is noticed. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
