LA FORMACIÓN ACADÉMICA DE LOS Y LAS PERIODISTAS IBEROAMERICANOS/AS PARA COMUNICAR LA CIENCIA Y SU RELACIÓN CON LA INVERSIÓN EN I+D.

This research study the plans of 84 Journalism and Information Sciences courses at Ibero-American universities included in the QS World University Rankings 2021. The objective is to determine the training offer in specialized and/or scientific journalism and its relationship with the country's investment in R&D. The qualitative technique of content analysis of the study plans published on the web pages is used. The results show that Specialized Journalism is not offered in most universities and that Science Journalism is offered as optional training. Furthermore, it is determined that there is no relationship between state investment in research and development and a greater presence of subjects related to science communication in the faculties.
