Abstract

The article discusses an initial framework for a standards for reporting interventions in clinical trials of acupuncture using animal models adaptation. Other topics include the Consolidated Standards of Reporting Trials (CONSORT) checklist for reporting clinical research, the Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments (ARRIVE) guidelines, and the Standards for Reporting Interventions in Clinical Trials of Acupunctures (STRICTA) recommendations.
