An editorial is presented to the article Nasal douching has re-emerged in decades as a popular means of controlling nasal symptoms and facilitating post-operative care in patients nasal and sinus surgery. Topics include the Journal of Laryngology & Otology recently published a paper comparing different douche solutions; and radical policy change has not seem to have translated into an increase in progression to deep neck space abscesses.
