This 12th contribution deals with just the Asteraceae subfamily Asteroideae. 133-135 spontaneous or naturalized species are reported, 50 are indicated here for the first time as well as 12 species of doubtfull occurrence and 11 that were erroneously reported. For each of the species, ecological and chorological information are provided and for some of them additional data (taxonomy, biology, caryology, biochemistry...) are added, based on recent bibliographical information and/or personal observations. 110 species are illustrated with photographs and eight plates of drawings of rare or rarely illustrated species complete the illustrations.
