Abstract
- The article focuses on how Global Hepatitis B Virus Elimination by 2030. Topics discussed include Global Health Sector Strategy on viral hepatitis, 2016–2021, by the World Health Assembly, the World Health Organization (WHO) developed ambitious targets for elimination of hepatitis B virus (HBV) and hepatitis C virus (HCV); and the HBV modeling outputs from Nayagam and colleagues highlight the disconnect in relation to the feasibility of achieving WHO 2030 HBV elimination.
