Abstract

The article suggests ways to help real readers grow their remote reading lives during the Covid-19 pandemic. They include the need for educators to prioritize readers before focusing on educational tools and technology, providing children easy and steady access to books, and recognizing the importance of student choice in text which is supported by the National Council of Teachers of English.
