Abstract
- The article discusses how the COVID-19 pandemic and subsequent lockdown has affected gendered practices within and between different kinds of homes in India. Topics covered include the country's deeply gendered and class-inflected distribution of domestic labor, the starkly different experiences of each class and caste, and the pandemic's effect on migrant workers.
