Abstract: The author explores the concept, philosophy, and religious aspects of love. Topics discussed include the love of wisdom which may be realized from participating in a graduate program in philosophy, the manifestation of the love and grace of God in the community, and the affirmation offered by theologian Augustine regarding love in his book "Homilies on the Gospel of John."
