Abstract

The article describes high thermoelectric performance in cadmium-doped polycrystalline silver antimony telluride caused by enhanced cationic ordering. Temperature-dependent electronic transport, transmission electron microscopy and first-principles density functional theory were used to show evidence of increased atomic ordering and the formation of nanoscale superstructures.
