Abstract

Case 2: An adult male to female transgender patient developed hyperprolactinaemia secondary to prolactinoma following treatment with estradiol, ethinylestradiol/cyproterone and cyproterone as GAHT. At the time of current presentation, the patient's GAHT comprised of topical estradiol patch 50 µg/hr twice weekly and cyproterone [cyproterone acetate] 50mg daily. Eighteen months prior to current presentation, patient had started receiving GAHT with topical estradiol gel, cyproterone [cyproterone acetate] 25mg daily and bioidentical progesterone 100mg daily.
