Abstract

In order to improve the electrolysis efficiency of lithium metal electrolysis cell, the multi physical simulation software was used to simulate the three dimensional heat field of lithium metal electrolysis cell under different voltages and different external auxiliary heat temperatures based on 600 A lithium electrolysis cell. And combined with the experimental analysis- The results show that on the same level,the higher temperature area of the electrolytic cell is between the anode and cathode, the anode surface temperature is higher than the cathode. The closer to the anode, the higher the molten salt electrolyte temperature is- When the DC voltage is 5. 5 V and the external auxiliary heat temperature is 370 °C, the thermal field distribution is reasonable and the electrolytic efficiency is relatively high, which provides a reference for the structure optimization of this electrolytic cell.
