Abstract
- We present a weakly‐compressible two‐phase poroviscoelastic biofilm model based on Smoothed Particle Hydrodynamics (SPH) method. The biofilm is modeled as a mixture of solid and fluid phases interacting via drag forces. Benefiting from the Lagrangian feature of the SPH method, large deformations of the solid structure can be modeled straightforwardly. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
