PRODUÇÃO CIENTÍFICA DE POLÍTICAS PÚBLICAS NO BRASIL: FOCO EM MINAS GERAIS.

A study on public policies is presented as an object of research in different areas of knowledge, considering the growth of publications on the subject in scientific journals. The objective is to analyze the scientific production on public policies in Brazil, to understand the development of this production, in addition to verifying the contribution of Minas Gerais in the period from 1980 to 2018. The theoretical framework deals with scientific production, scientific communication and communication channels, formal communication, scientific journals, bibliometrics, discourse analysis and public policies. The research is characterized by the quantitative, descriptive and bibliographic approach. The research corpus formed by the set of scientific articles linked to the journals indexed in the SciELO and Scopus databases. Data analysis based on bibliometric techniques and discourse analysis. It seeks to know the scientific journals, authors and institutions; and learn about public policy issues of interest to the academic community. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
