Since the end of World War II, old town squares have undergone significant functional transformations. They no longer have a market squares function in the sense of regular trade on the square, instead squares bother the functions of representative and recreational spaces, but trade and services are still present in them in the square frontages. The aim of the article is to assess the buildings around the square in Uniejów in terms of the level of square closure, taking into account the each sides - walls of the town square, as well as its functional structure.
