Abstract

The article reports about the rebranding of graphic technology company Applied Graphics Technology (AGT), whereby different entities of the company will present themselves as one. Currently involved in a number of activities like retail, packaged goods and out-of-home advertising, the company is planning to present a new, single identity in order to streamline its business. John Harris, CEO of the company, has announced that AGT would become an international company and unveil a new identity in the coming weeks. Harris said that the company has been looking at a total process with end-to-end deliverables, common technology and common architecture, in order to accommodate the best technologies available. The company plans to go international with offices in Hong Kong, China and India. To counter the competition in the field, AGT aims to pay greater emphasis on packaging. Harris also emphasized on the importance of accuracy and the need to change messages for one to flourish in this field.
