TIC y gobierno electrónico. Cooperación entre Corea del Sur y América del Sur.

This paper addresses the development strategy of the information and communication technology industries of the Republic of Korea from the point of view of governmental policies --which derives in its position as one of the vanguard countries in terms of electronic government and which places the sector as central to the growth of its economy--, and also addresses the export of systems or components of electronic government --this understood within a wide range that includes: consultation, design, software, hardware, among others-- to Latin American countries. It is argued here that intergovernmental cooperation aims to facilitate the entry of South Korean companies into Latin American markets. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
