Some taxonomical notes on the subgenus Pandelleisca Rohdendorf, 1937 (Diptera, Sarcophagidae, Sarcophaginae).

An annotated check list of 14 valid species of Liosarcophaga Enderlein, 1928 (Pandelleisca Rohdendorf, 1937), distributed in the Palaearctic and Oriental zoogeographical regions, is presented. Five new combinations are proposed: L. (P.) baudeti (Lehrer, 1998) n. comb.; L. (P.) brachiata (Sugiyama, 1990) n. comb.; L. (P.) gresiventris (Salem, 1946) n. comb.; L. (P.) quinqueramosa (Sugiyama, 1990) n. comb.; L. (P.) popovi (Trofimov, 1948) n. comb. & rev. stat. is resurrected from junior synonymy with L. (P.) similis (Pandellé, 1896). Two new synonymies are proposed: Pandelleisca theodori Lehrer, 1998 n. syn. = Liosarcophaga (Pandelleisca) popovi (Trofimov, 1948); Sarcophaga (Pandelleisca) mersinensis Pekbey, 2020 n. syn. = Liosarcophaga (Pandelleisca) popovi (Trofimov, 1948).
