Abstract
- The author focuses on usefulness of antiviral drugs for treatment of Alzheimer's disease and mentions degeneration of neurons involved in the neuron. Topics discussed include case study of postmortem brain tissue from patient Auguste Deter, amyloid beta (Aβ) considered as cause of the diseases which is knowns as amyloid cascade hypothesis and limited therapeutics shown by compounds that deplete Aβ.
