Abstract
- An 84-year-old female was referred to a colorectal surgeon for a colonoscopy following a positive faecal occult blood test organized by her general practitioner. She underwent a colonoscopy which revealed sigmoid diverticulosis and a foreign body at the rectosigmoid junction wedged between a 10-mm ulcerating inflammatory polyp which was partially resected (Fig. 2011; 4: 104 - 7. 6 Hershman M, Shamah S, Mudireddy P, Glick M.
