Abstract
- Reports that high levels of contaminants were found in the wild meat and fish consumed by Grassy Narrows and Wabauskang First Nations in Ontario. Identification of otters to have the highest levels of mercury; Consideration of paper mills near the reserves as the one responsible for contamination of traditional foods; Statement of Judy Da Silva, project manager for the Grassy Narrows study, on the need for further studies on the effect of industry on human health.
