Abstract

We study the processes and mechanisms of electron-beam melting (EBM) used in the production of high-purity metals. We formulate the requirements that should be imposed on the EBM parameters for the production of high-quality materials and proposed some optimal modes. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
