Abstract

The article presents a guide on how to calculate economic losses in U.S. 8th Circuit employment cases as of September 2020. Also cited are the ruling by the Supreme Court in the case Bostock v. Clayton City, Georgia on the protection of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) workers by Title VII of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, and the essential elements for calculation of lost earnings like pay, worklife, interest, taxes, and benefits.
