Abstract
- The article discusses a study on squeeze test detection of subclinical synovitis in arthralgia patients with possible rheumatoid arthritis (RA) progression. It states that a positive squeeze test within clinically suspect arthralgia (CSA) was not significantly linked to inflammatory arthritis (IA) as the latter is mainly driven by tenosynovitis. Also noted is the squeeze test's doubling of the probable presence of subclinical synovitis when the patient is positive in CSA.
