Abstract: This article reports that the teacher who stole GSCE exam papers to help the pupils she tutored has been jailed for three months. Farzana Akbar, 46, pleaded guilty to stealing five GSCE maths papers from her school and showing them to private pupils just 24 hours before their exam. The theft was discovered when one of the pupils from the tutorial session, run by Akbar and her husband at Headstart Education in Motspur Park, Greater London, told another teacher the revision questions had been similar to the real questions in the exam.
