Abstract

This article presents a case report on management of urethral metastasis from colorectal carcinomas. Urethral tumors are extremely rare. Just over 600 cases have been reported so far.' Squamous cell carcinoma accounts for 70% of the primary tumors. Adenocarcinoma from paraurethral glands accounts for 10-20% of urethral primaries. Melanomas and various sarcomas have also been reported. Secondary tumors of the urethra are even more rare. Metastases from prostatic carcinoma have been reported in men. Metastases from renal cell carcinoma, Wilms' tumor and urachal adenocarcinoma have also been reported. In these two cases of urethral metastases, one from rectal carcinoma and the other from sigmoid carcinoma, their diagnosis and urological management.
