Abstract
- Offers an explanation on how a fetus survives inside the mother's womb without being attacked and rejected by her immune system. Production of an enzyme called IDO in the fetus which destroys the amino acid tryptophan without which T cells can not divide and reproduce thus affecting the immune system.
