An editorial is presented on the more data to motivate hospital volume standards for catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF). Topics inlcude the catheter ablation of AF has emerged as the best treatment option for patients with symptomatic AF, and the not only has it been shown to prevent recurrent AF in most patients but also AF catheter ablation decreases total AF burden and improves patients' quality of life.
