Abstract
- Between the slogans and motives that form the discourse of «Propuesta Republicana» (PRO), this article seeks to deepen the understanding of the concept of the «third way» that its leaders have used to define the party identity. The paper deals with characterizing and relating four discourses of third way which, even with different temporalities and political-ideological orientations, resonate in the discourse of PRO. Thus, in addition to presenting the ideas of the third post-ideological way emerging in the 1990s with which the leaders prefer to identify it, the discourse of PRO is put in dialogue with other reflections about the third way, developed in II Postwar: thus, with the program of the «social market economy», with the debate held by a series of argentine catholic-intellectuals about the socio-economic project of «christian democracy» and with the peronist' «third position».
