Abstract
- Recent progress in deciphering few-body light hypernuclear systems, reported at MENU-2019, Pittsburgh PA, June 2019, is summarized on the following issues: (i) resolving the Λ 5 He overbinding problem in single-Λ hypernuclei; (ii) arguing that the onset of binding double-Λ hypernuclei occurs at A = 5; and (iii) revisiting the loosely bound Λ 3 H lifetime evaluation, given recent claims from relativistic heavy ion experiments that τ( Λ 3 H) is shorter than the free-Λ lifetime τΛ by as much as 30-40%.
