The Colombian legal system, regulates in article 26 of Law 1437 of 2011 "Code of Administrative Procedure and Administrative Litigation", a mechanism for the protection of the fundamental constitutional right of petition. This tool is the so-called appeal for insistence, which has among its main characteristics are being judicial, principal, informal, expeditious and independent of the constitutional action contained in Article 86 Superior.
