Abstract: The article provides an update on immunodeficiency-associated vaccine-derived polioviruses (iVDPV) worldwide from July 2018 to December 2019. Topics discussed include surveillance for acute flaccid paralysis and for poliovirus infections among patients with primary immunodeficiency, classification of vaccine-derived polioviruses, and summary of iVDPV epidemiology from 1961 to 2019.
