Abstract

The article offers information about the engineering bacterial outer membrane vesicles as transdermal nanoplatforms for photo-tumor necrosis factor related apoptosisinducing ligand (TRAIL)–programmed therapy against melanoma. It discusses the development of the outer membrane vesicles derived from transgenic Escherichia coli, modified with integrin peptide targeting ligand and indocyanine green to induce the transdermal photo-TRAIL-programmed treatment in skin melanoma.
