Abstract

The article analyses the role of some habits like cigarette smoking, alcohol, coffee and tea consumption, and physical activities as environmental risk factors for Multiple sclerosis in the Belgrade population using a case-control study. The study group consisted of 110 cases with clinically and/or laboratory supported MS in whom onset symptoms occurred up to 2 years prior to the interview. Statistical analysis included conditional univariate and multivariate logistic regression models.
