Abstract

This paper discusses an experience in student self-assessment and self-grading of a subject which is part of the Special Education Teaching Degree, by rereading The Ignorant Schoolmaster: Five Lessons in Intellectual Emancipation by Jacques Rancière. The experience was put into context; some aspects of this book were clarified, and put in the dialogue form. Finally, advantages of this teaching strategy were examined. [ABSTRACT FROM AUTHOR]
