Abstract

The main purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between abusive supervision and organizational citizenship behavior, and the moderating role of meaning of work, coworker support, and conscientiousness on this relationship. The data of the study were collected from 213 employees working in the retail sector. The results of the research showed that abusive supervision had negative effect on organizational citizenship behaviors; meaning of work, coworker support, and conscientiousness had a moderator role on this relationship. These conclusions are important both contributing to the development and diversification of the related literature and providing solutions in the management of the effects of abusive supervision for human resources managers.
