To perform a systematic literature review on the criteria and scoring functions applied in multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA) tools and value frameworks relevant to evaluate pharmaceuticals used to treat rare diseases. The aim was to describe published value attributes of treatments for rare diseases, and to categorize these value criteria based on traditional value assessment practices.
