Abstract: The article examines the issues and challenges faced by men and women in their religious life, particularly in their decisions to leave the seminary, by citing the experiences of Magdalene Visaggio, Jessica Packard, and Joe Heschmeyer as examples. Also cited are the data from Georgetown University's Center for Applied Research showing that around 74% of seminarians finished their course in 2019, and the process for acceptance into Catholic priesthood.
